sleep no more

My friend Jason, first told me about Sleep No More and I was too scared to go last year. It's part Macbeth/Eyes Wide Shut/Pick Your Own Adventure. Thankfully the show has been extended since they have been getting rave reviews. I finally built up the courage to go last night and never experienced anything like it. If you're in NYC, I highly recommend it.

I think this was my favorite room (of course the one with envelopes on the wall) and probably the least creepy :)

Gnomes vs Snowmen

I'm sad that I can't make it out to the opening reception of Gnomes vs. Snowmen by Anna Hrachovec at the Gallery Hanahou. The battle is going to be epic.

the calm before the storm

I survived my first hurricane this past weekend. I stocked up on water, snacks, candles and even filled my tub with water. Here are some pics from my neighborhood before Hurricane Irene came into town. Luckily my apt building had no damages and we didn't lose power. Thank you for all of those who were concerned.
